ESY (Extended School Year)
Children with autism and like diagnoses often show significant regression in many areas when they have even small breaks in services. This can make summers particularly hard for these children. The Bridge of Georgia offers two summer sessions and these sessions don not interfere with services already in place for this population, such as the two Stone Soup camps. Each session consists of three weeks, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 - 12:00. Children may attend one session or both. The cost for each session is $250.00. To reserve a place for your child you must fill out the application and pay $75.00 as a deposit for each session. The remaining $175.00 for each session will be due on the first day. These sessions will have a strong social and communication component, but emerging skills noted in the child's  IEP will be addressed as well. The Bridge of Georgia is excited to offer this opportunity to families so that their children can continue to grow and learn throughout the long weeks of summer.
